Beautiful Scarlet

9/10, very close to that perfect score.

Track 2 and 5 are excellent, unfortunately they are let down by 3/4. Love to love is simply a song I can't force myself to like, I dislike it. Everything on the song is just so cheesy I feel embarrassed listening to it and hesitate to recommend the album in its entirety due to it. Another track that lets down the magnificent 2/5 is the titular track. Less bad then Love To Love You the song is more of Golf Girl yet noticeably weaker and seeming unnecessary.

Overall this is a great album brought down by two songs. Something I'll never understand is why Words (Alias) was not included on this album in lieu of 3/4. Anyways 4/5, Hatfield And The North would go on to write the wrongs of this album. Canterbury Sound Score 4/5
