With all honesty, when I recently entered this site and noticed there was a top 100 section, I almost instantly thought that The Dark Side Of The Moon was going to be in the top spot. I seriously could not imagine anything else. Eventually, it ended up being sixth, and I honestly like that more. The variety in the top ten and how the first five albums are occupied by five different bands is very amazing. I honestly had no idea who Jethro Tull was, as blasphemous as that sounds!

Anyways, since it's pretty obvious that everything about this album has already been said, it would be much better to say and talk about some background of this album. How did Pink Floyd create such masterwork out of nowhere? Well I'm sorry but I'm incapable of answering that question. No one can, actually, would even dare to say not even Pink Floyd can answer that question. And the reason is that inspiration is a feeling and an energy that simply cannot be measured or described, the only thing we know about it is that it truly creates miracles like this album.

I have always felt like Pink Floyd's entire career from The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn to Meddle was a massive build up just for this album to be created. In fact, the similarity that Meddle's Echoes has to this album is truly remarkable.

I simply cannot say anything about the album itself. You must listen it yourself. But you must listen it at least once, you won't regret it. It's impossible for me to not give this album a five star rating, I honestly have no idea how you could give it four stars or less.
