5 stars Into the electric castle is a sci-fi story about multiple people from different times in human history and have been brought to another dimension. They each have their own personalities that are extremely stereotyped. I don't want to describe to much of the story, so i don't give the fun of it away.

In my opinion the vocals are good, but nothing spectacular. Fish is the best singer on the album, but that is no surprise. However, when they sing in harmony, that is astounding. The beat of the album changes very often. At times it can be very slow and mellow then abruptly change to a more metal pace. These fast changes do not detract form the album, but add to it. The two faster paced songs are Across the rainbow bridge and The castle hall.

Into The Electric Castle, in my opinion is one of Ayreons best albums. The album is very well put together and has decent vocals and very great instruments. It has great progressive and metal music mixed together.
