4 stars 1972, we agree with all the time that has passed since that masterful deep purple live album?, Has been a long time and even in these days, people new into terms of "rock" are consistent that this live album is one of the greatest exponents in music in general which live music is concerned, I do not think that are weak parts on this album, and the songs that are on this live album are hymns in the history of this great British band, such as Smoke on the water, child in time, I should mention my respects to the great voice of Ian Gillan, excellent, great voice.and is still rockin, another great genius of great inspiration for the musical wave of guitarists that appeared in the 80's,i am talking about Ritchie blackmore and a inspiration for yngwie malmsteen, right? recently heard of the made in japan by dream theater, their made a tribute of it. and really important bands like Dream Theater to make a tribute to this album is for Quelle Honor fans of Deep Purple, Dream Theater as a fan of deep purple, as well.

the sound presented here in all instruments are truly amazing, great improvisations, great solos by Jon Lord and Ritchie, and the great and amazing bass sound of Glover, and what about the drumms of Ian paice?, if you really are new to deep purple band , I would recommend you to start with this album, and from there begin your search of this magnificent band throughout the years. is unlikely to exceed a live album like this, I mean really. when I say this and they don't believe me, I simply put the longer version of Space truckin, about 19 minutes, cool and explosive intense, large progressive elements, Deep Purple has been one of the shapers of the genre unconsciously without specifically belonging to the genre, simply the great battles of solos by ritchie and lord, are an art and other great bands inspirations for our beloved present (bravo)

4 solid stars.
