3 stars Okay, this guy has about a million albums and how can I choose one to review. I actually have only a couple of Zappas because I need to be in a certain "mood" to listen to him. When he's on he's on. When he's off.....ick. THis seems to be a good sampler of Zappa, if that is even possible to do on a single record. However, as compliations go, it is not bad. And at a very low price. There are some short tunes, some longer tunes, and a few live bits thrown in to the mix, and it all comes out pretty well. I do not see any reason for a hard core Zappa fan to get this disc, but for a beginner, or just a casual listen like myself, this is a good introduction. I think many who listened to this might be inclined to dig a little deeper into the great morass which is the Zappa disocgraphy. And, this is by far better, in my opinion, than the Son of Cheap THrills which I also have. 3 stars.
