4 stars Hey progheads, I'll be short on my review. If you like any album of SB, sure this one will please your prog tastes. Since Neal Morse left the band, being honest, SB was still trying to find the right way to go, not Octane, or Spock's Beard Cd, reach the highness SB use to get on their first albums like The Light, V or my favorite Snow. but today is the day my friends. Lyrics, Musicianship, the singing, the mixtures of sounds, the more dominant keyboards!!! where were you Mr Ryo???? well, now Mr Ryo shows he is in the big leagues. No weak songs. but there are some favorites like "From the Darkness, Their Names Escapes *very original by the way, and the last one. the real deal Jaws of Heaven" having lots of orchestrations, symphonic moods well done, the guitar solo....my god, one of those that makes you shivers. Anyway, if you ask me, "poncho, should I buy X"? My answer is yes, yes and yes, if you like any previous albums of SB, YES!. buy it, if you were not convince by any of the previous albums, give this a chance. Some of the songs sounds like from the 90's but for me, is not a bad thing, if you are looking for something ultra fresh from SB....look somewhere else, X is more darker, more elavorate, and produce album, not that hard to understand so that's a good thing. Now the really sound like a sychronice band in the same station.

So, my prog brothers and sisters, give SB a chance! 4.5 for my tastes. PROG RULES THE WORLD HAHAHA
