5 stars Happy progressive rock.

I think that is the perfect definition for the Swedish band Moon Safari, they transmit happiness. I don't know how I got to this album, but I remember I saw the artwork and I was curious about what I could find. I have to say that it's not the greatest artwork from all time but... it's a funny cover!

The album started with an a cappella intro "Constant Bloom", in barbershop style. I knew it was going to be awesome. And it was. Then you have an epic song of almost 16 min... Incredible! "Methuselah's Children" is very well structured and written. As I read in other reviews, it's like a pastoral-happy side of Yes. That's true but with a few listens, you may see that Moon Safari is really unique.

The first CD flows beautifully, it passes in a blink of an eye. The combination of "Moonwalk" and "Bluebells" that it's like a big song of 18 min is one of the greatest things I've ever heard. Original, inspiring and beautiful.

Maybe the album is very long, it's a double album... and CD1 is better than CD2 imo, but it's full of great music. Like I said, really happy prog, the synths and acoustic guitar sound incredible, and another awesome thing about Moon Safari are their vocal arrangements, truly genius. They have become one of my favorite bands of all time.

Really longing for the new album!
