Their first venture into a heavy sound. I consider this to be a tribute album, hailing the greats in this genre.

Music and singing are stellar. But I must say I find the music a bit too stale for my taste. Rather straightforward. Catchy yes, but with few of the typical KG traits that make it a bit more than fine.

I still think this is an unbelievably brave venture into this sound. It could have fallen flat easily. But what we get here is a good album and anyone who likes the genre should enjoy this one. For me, it's not my favourite music style. So unless it's extraordinary, I will not quickly visit it again.

I rate it 2 stars.
