FOCUS

I know it's said alot and sometimes not really objective, but I think this is _THE_ best album ever. This is *the* great masterpiece of Fusion, Technical Death Metal, and Progressive Metal. Cynic members are extremely talented musicians and each one of them is well known in his expertise: Paul Masvidal and Jason Gobel in great guitar work, the outstanding bass player Sean Malone (Who also involve and has more great projects such as Gordian Knot, Aghora, and more), and the terrific drummer Sean Reinert. The music is just brilliant, the mixing of fusion and technical death metal and progressive metal, with the synthesized vocals and growled vocals, it's just perfect. Also the album includes the great Fusion instrumental "Textures" that only makes the album beyond perfection. Well what else can I say. This is just a true masterpiece. By the way - you should give it a few serious listenings until you will understand what you hear. oh and better be open-minded, and not be locked on a specific thing. That's all. GO AND BUY IT!
