The third album by Flairck follows in the same footsteps as their debut album + probably their second album too. Symphonic acoustic folk music. A blend very few others than Flairck do.

The theme here is circus music. And a circus it is. It feels like lions and tigers are lurking in the shadows while the acrobats does their art in the center of the tent while kids are watching with big eyes and wonderment. This album perfectly brings us the happy happy circus feeling.

I am not that overawed by the quality of the music. I have to admit I prefer the slightly reflective and more somber side of Flairck too. But the standard of the musicianship here is well above what most other bands is able to do. Hans Visser's acoustic guitar playing is from another planet. The violins and the other instruments, all acoustic, is excellent too. But still.......... I would not brand this album as a great album. But I still like it a lot and I do recommend it. The best song here is Es Vijf where the tempo and the music is more reflective and toned down than the rest of this circus music album songs.
