THE WALL (THE MOVIE)

The album of THE WALL is pretty good and I believe I gave it a 4 star review. The movie, however, is a dreary, depressing bit of work that I have only been able to watch completely a couple of times. Only the Pink Floyd music keeps this alive. When I saw it originally in the theater I was very impressed, but over time THE WALL has not grown on me. Some of this is just dull. I prefer the album by 100% over the movie. Being Pink Floyd (or at least Roger Waters), I can't give this a low rating, but I can give it 3 stars. Average but non-essential.
