3 stars This 2 CD set was recorded on the band's "Hot Space" tour in 1982. For that reason you get alot of the "Hot Space" album tracks, which in my opinion are much better in a live environemnt, as they are given a chance to breathe. Here they are all rock songs, missing the funk / disco / horn laden stuff found in the studio versions.

There are a few highlights here, but anyone who has see or heard a Quen concert from this era has already gotten the idea. The tracks all sound superb, although there are a few spots where Fredde's voice sounds a bit strained. The music is dead on and this is the last year most of these songs were ever played live by the band!!!! Almost all of the "Hot Space" songs were dropped by 1984 and all but "Under Pressure" were gone by 1986. I believe this was also the last tour for "Flash", "The Hero", and the awesome fast version of "We Will Rock You" which was never recorded in the studio but opened many Queen shows up to this point!

"Fat Bottomed Girls" and "Get Down Make Love" were also never played again and "Play The Game", "Somebody To Love" and "Dragon Attack" may of only been played once or twice after this show!! The sound quality of this set is absolutely amazing but if you really want to experience this show then get the DVD!!!!! For Queen fans this may be one of the only times to get all of these live songs together, as for 1984 the band greatly changed their setlist and most of these songs were forgotten!!!!

This is NOT for a casual Queen fan, so don't buy this if you aren't familiar with Queen's live sound! If you are a fan you probably have it, if not, get it now!
