3 stars So this is the big change for After Crying, now we have "After Crying - the prog rock band" and dropping a the "ensemble format".

The music on "Fold es Eg" is complex as always but with a notable rock feel. Most people would be delighted hearing the opening of the album "Manticore érkezése (parts 1 and 2)" which has a big connection to Emerson, Lake and Palmer both in the title and musically. Another highlight is "Rondo" which is NOT the Dave Brubeck tune made famous by The Nice, this is actually an After Crying composition, this track again features the impressive work of Csaba Vedres on keyboards sounding both as Patrick Moraz and Keith Emerson. Vedres can be heard again on the piano piece "Cisz-Dór Koncertetüd " showing again heavy influences of Emerson. The rest of the album is more subtle giving reminiscences of the band's previous ensemble releases.

As this is a quite a rock album I think this should attract more people to the band's complex offering.
