THE WHOLE STORY

The whole story? Well, mostly it is. 12 singles that cover Kate Bush's work up until 1986. All the usual suspects are here: "Wuthering Heights", "Hounds of Love", Babooshka"..etc..with "Wuthering Heights" getting a new vocal treatment. I actually like the extra nonalbum song that is incleded here called "Experiment IV". Only "Sat in your Lap" is not a favorite of mine. As an artist, Kate is better appreciated on full albums, but this does give a pretty fair introduction to her music. And it actually is not just a bunch of her most poppy or mainstream tunes. There are some interesting gems among the 12 songs. Hard to give a greatest hits album anything above 3 stars so..3 stars it is! Good basic package.
