2 stars Light of Extension is the debut album from Legend. Released in 91 it encompasses the sound of the scene around them. My first vision when listening to this album is of black trench coats and black pantyhose being used as sleeves. They bring about a good mix of Neo Gothic Folk and New Wave sound with an occasional cock rocked guitar solo. Her voice was well suited for the Gothic revolution of the 80s and 90s.

This album is very accessible and could quite easily be played at goth night at The Masquerade here in ATL. However it must be said that there is absolutely nothing exciting about that. There is nothing exciting about this album. I wouldn't get up and jam out unless provoked to do so by a Gothic hottie.

I would and have recommended this album to one of my friends still trapped in Gothdom. Other than her and friends with musical taste like hers I wouldn't recommend this to anyone else. The music is catchy and for the 'right' person this album may be well enjoyed. Most people aren't the 'right' people. Fans and collectors only. Two Stars.
