deb
4 stars I always loved this album. It was definitely a masterpiece and way ahead of it's time. The band members names I don't really remember at the tip of my tongue.I remember that lead singer's name was David something.I still have the record and always will keep it in my classic rock vault.I remember them being a St.Louis area band that got alot of quality air time on St.Louis rock FM stations -mainly KSHE.The haunting lyrics and sound of the best song on the album [julia] will always be imbellished in the back of my brain.People who compareed them to the band "Babe Ruth" are not far off the mark. The two bands were from same exact time period and had vocal power and sound that were quite similar.Babe Ruth with the rock goddess "Jenny Haan" has my vote of being a litle better overall in talent and stage presence. That although, doesn't take away from the greatness of Pavlov's Dog.Babe Ruth being one of the best rock band s of the early -mid seventies that should have hung together much longer than they did.If you love 1970's rock and roll and haven't heard this album go find it.You will never regret it.
