1 stars This is another bootleg that was later released by Frank Zappa as part of his official discography. It is also part of the Beat the Boots Collection II. If you already have the bootleg "Freaks and Motherfuckers" you will notice that there is some redundancy here. That's because both bootlegs are from the same show. Also, if you have the Italian bootleg "A Snail in My Nose", you basically have the same recording as this one with a different track listing (same songs, different names). The Beat the Boots II notes say that this was recorded in May of 1970 at Fillmore East NYC, but that date is incorrect. This performance was most likely in November, around the 14th, 1970 at either Fillmore East or West.

The sound quality is fair, the performance very similar to the official recording "Mothers at Fillmore East" but with some additional material and different instrumentals. The best thing about this album is "A Pound for a Brown (on the Bus)" It seems that the sound quality is also best on this song, but that's my opinion. Other than that, it's not really worth it to look for this one unless you are one of those that have the collection or if you are a completionist. Flo and Eddie are obnoxious as usual.
