4 stars If you find some of the earlier One little indian material too over produced and hard to listen to, this might be the perfect antidote. It includes recorded for radio perfomances of early material from the Loveblows and Lovecries.

The acoustic version of lovecry is a personal fave. The JBK band play on a few songs [recorded live for radio 1]

Yes , it is for No Man completists, but, if like me , you always found the stuff recorded for the "major label" to be too much , trying to give the public what the label "thought" they wanted - ie, rather commercial and overproduced, this is a great alternative. Super songs unhindered by excessive production.

The version of watching over me appeared virtually unchanged on the excellent Tim Bowness/Samuel Smiles World of bright futures album, and rates as the best track on the album [for me]

If you like No Man, it is well worth having .
