5 stars "A soothing yet frightening mix of psychedelic and progressive music that smoothly bridges the gap between Wolfgang Mozart and Elton John."

This is an incredible musical experience. It is hard to believe a symphony orchestra was not used to create the unique, calming yet terrifying sound. I can see the Beatles influence on this album. Especially on the songs "10538" Overture and "Mr. Radio" but I the Beatles did not use real orchestral instruments. The song "Nellie takes her Bow" is reminiscent of an Elton John ballad. Well the beginning and end at least. Now I might be a little bias towards this album due to its extensive use of the Horn but I still love the album. This is the perfect companion for me when I trip on nutmeg. But the last time this happened I ended up buck naked on top of a lamp post in Beijing and I was missing $500,000. Along with the restrained psychedelica I enjoy the progressive tendencies of the songs. How for the most part they do not follow a common stylistic pattern and include a multitude of instruments. The song "Look at me now" reminds me of "Strange Ways" by Gentle Giant.

The overall feel of this album is a weird mix of calming and terrifying. The strings set up an ambient feel that agitates me yet calms me down. It is a great album to listen to perfectly still in a dark room. It is to the point that if I don't wear a helmet while listening to this album, my head will explode.

I recommend this album to anyone who is trying to enlarge their Progressive music collection. It is a masterpiece in the truest sense of the word. Get this album.
