1 stars Just when I thought they could not sink any lower......... they did.

This album has been described as a filler album of odds and ends. It probably is that too. There is a lot of Greg Lake solo stuff here though. His hit single I Believe In Father Christmas is included on this album. A pretty good song, actually. But let's start with the beginning.

The opening song Tiger In A Spotlight is also a rather good song and gives false hopes for the rest of this album. Hopes dashed pretty soon after. The rest of the album is not worthy the Emerson, Lake & Palmer name. It is indeed odds and ends from a once great band. That and some Keith Emerson solo stuff which does sounds even beneath his standards.

In short; this is a pretty bad album. One or two stars ? Inbetween, but taken down to one star.

1.5 stars
