On their second album, Eloy finds their feet with a sound which traverse krautrock, symph prog and psychedelic/space rock. It is the latter PA category they have been put in. But this album is a mix of three genres plus some heavy prog too.

The vocals is an aqcuired taste, but they give Eloy a lot of character in my book/estimation. The superb interplay between the Hammond organ and electric guitars really gives this album and Eloy it's very own identity. The sound is not the best, but it fits the musich here like a hand in a (good) glove.

The opening seventeen minutes long Land Of No body is really good with a good symph prog structure. Eloy sets out their stall here. But they really display their goods with the title track. A track like Future City is also a nod towards both Jethro Tull and the burgeoning kraut scene. The rest of the album follows the same path.

The best song here is the title track. A truly superb track. But this album never gets boring and it is one of the signature albums of the German prog scene. A truly great album it is.
