5 stars One of the top ten album of the 90's! It's a masterpiece of progressive rock and the begin of the swedish prog scene with anekdoten, Landberk, Par Lindh project etc. this masterwork is the rebirth of 70's progressive rock cause is very influenced by King Crimson, Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull and especially for the use of vintage instruments like Hammond, mellotron, rickenbaker bass. But it's not a clone in every way, because the personality and the inspiration here reach the summit with four long songs, very dinamic and complex in terms of music and moods that range from slow and melancholy to fast and energetic parts, full of mellotron, hammond, Crimson heavy and acoustic guitar passages, with the costant presence of the beautiful flute by Anna Holmgren. My Favourite track is "Jordrök" with it's beautiful Piano intro that progresses in several change of times and moods, with a majestic break of the church organ in the middle, this is the only entire instrumental song of the album. "Vandringar I Vilsenhet" it's the most complex song, the first with sweden lyrics, with dark, slow and fast organ, flute and guitar passages, the sound of the band here describes very well the nordic melancholy, but i prefer the last "Kung Bore" (king winter), with it's wonderfull acoustic guitar intro and the folkish flutes and keyboard passages. Excellent "Ifrån Klarhet Till Klarhet" with it's strange circus intro by Anna Holmgren. There's no other things to say...this is a must in 'very serious progressive rock collection!! Even if it requires an open mind.
