2 stars After reading the other reviews, I'm beginning to wonder if I'm the only Yes fan that does not like these songs.

I feel this album is an example of style over substance. It has some of that 70's Yes style, but the songwriting is not nearly on par with their earlier work. To me it sounds like a failed attempt to recapture their 70's magic.

It contains those elements that 70's Yes fans love: long songs, good musicianship, no Trevor Rabin. But for me, that means nothing if there isn't a good song to back it up. These songs seem artificially long, they meander, they lack focus, they never really catch fire.

So I'll rate it two stars (collectors/fans only). Since it seems to have those elements that Yes fans love.

I don't think that a fan of 70's Yes music will automatically like this album (I sure didn't).

To give you a perspective on my musical tastes, here is how I rate the other Yes albums.

Love them: The Yes Album Fragile Close to the Edge Relayer Going for the One

Like them: Drama 90125 Big Generator Talk

OK, not bad, but not great either, could live without them: Yes Time and a Word Union Tormato The Ladder Magnification

Yuck: Keystudio Open Your Eyes
