5 stars This is befar Death's finest albums. As each album is realeased, Schuldiner's vocals and guitar technique becomes sharper and precise. His vocals sound higer pitched then his previous albums, his riffs are amazing, and his lyrics are far more thought-out. Gene Hoglan's drumming are precise, tight, and he does not over-play his parts as much as Richard Christy does on The Sound of Perserverance. Bobby Koelbe's solos are far more 'schooled' as Schuldnier's technique, so he really adds to the over-all music. My favorite songs are Crystal Mountain, 1000 eyes, Misanthrope, and Perennial Quest (by far the BEST track of Chuck's carrer in my opinon). This album is definately worth the money. This album is 5 stars at best.
