Released by Carlos Santana in 1972, CARAVANSERAI is the final culmination of the jazzy works of the band. Never again did they reach this level of Jazz Fusion and Rock excellence. From the opening background noise of the crickets you know you will be going on a trip with Carlos and the band through the Sahara Desert of wonderful sounds. There isa not a bad song on this album and no wasted space or time. Basically a perfect Jazz Fusion recording. Too bad the band was not able to repeat the sucess again. Derserves all the praises the reviewers give to it.
