2 stars After almost five years of working in the same lineup, and after three great studio and one live album, Eloy came through reconstruction, changing keyboard and drums players. Listening to this record, it is evident that the change is significant, for album is song oriented and sounds far less progressive. Four of the eight songs closes just a little above 3 minutes, keyboards usage is much simplified, and drumming becomes of standard rock cliché. There is no more interplay between guitar, bass and keyboards, and songs are less memorable. Only two songs stand above others and look like old Eloy songs, "Illuminations" and "Silhouette", both lasting 6-7 minutes (these two songs representing "Colours" album are reworked for 1994 "Chronicles I"). Comparing this to records before it, only "for fans" rate.
