FEEDBACK

Feedback came as a bit of disappointment after hearing Rush were going back into the studio. Here one of the world's most influential band pays tribute to the bands that inspired them. They turn out a fine collection of blues-rock songs infused with that classic Rush sound.

The covers are all performed very well, and the song selection is quite good. Rush don't stray much from the songs' original content; these are basically photocopies of the originals except with each of the band member's unique tones added. As a collection entirely of cover songs this probably will only appeal to fans of Rush. And their is no prog value to this album so in terms of importance to a prog collection, this album is basically throwaway. However, every Rush fan should be sure to pick this album up because it's full of four star material.
