An extremely strong album and demonically great piece of art! Music just flows from mister Hammills veins. If you can tolerate Hammills theatrical voice you are in front of a joyride! Half a dozen of smaller goodies and an epic of 17 minutes. Sadly the epic "Magog" is the poorest track os the album. After some 9 minutes it goes psychedelic. Why, I must ask. It was already done by almost every band and Hammill brings nothing new to the listener here. So you get a 5 star half and a 3...1 star epic. Still the goodies are so good that I must give 4 stars because a prog fan don't want to live with out this record.
