1 stars Anglagard, I would say, most overrated prog rock group ever. Yes, they were important as a band who dared to play prog after the prog rock crash of the end of 70s. So, they were very important as an example, of, you coud say, a cosmic revival of progressive music. They were young and could talk to a younger audience. The old prog rockers were also happy to see that new generation was standing up. From there, first slowly and then picking up its speed, the whole new prog rock scene was recreated. So, important, yes indeed. But is it also a buitiful and enjoyable music? Well, not for me. I find them too monotonous, not composed very well. There music sounds more like a dry political concept, then something you would enjoy and let you fly on its wings... Only for the connoisiers...
