4 stars This review is kind of like a latter day Genesis review. As the times change, prog bands mainly have two choices. They are change your sound or die sticking to the old guard. In fairness to Trevor Rabin, who is the main songwriter here, this was never supposed to be a Yes album. First, it was a solo album, then a Cinema album with Chris Squire. Only after Squire asked Jon Anderson to join after much of the music was written, did they decide to call this a "Yes" album. Without this album, I doubt there would have been another "Yes" album.

So much like Genesis albums from ATTW3 on, there is not much prog here but that does not mean there isn't very good music. The production is stellar, the single Owner of a Lonely Heart is a massive hit , the rest of the has some great vocals and playing from all involved.

I have given this plenty of spins back when it was released and I still enjoy it today.
