5 stars One of four Wakeman albums that I own, and the only one I'll review. This is a quintessential prog album, easily Wakeman's best. In fact, anytime that he's with Yes on the road, he plays excerpts from here as his solo showcase - and for good reason. This is not only his best, but his most lyrical album - which is saying a great deal since it is made up of all instrumentals. In fact, Catherine of Aragon is a veritable lost Yes track because it features Steve Howe, Chris Squire, and Bill Bruford on it.

All of these tracks feed off of each other and each lady has their own "voice". I think that this is exceedingly well done. My favorites are the three Catherines - Aragon, Howard, and Parr. That does not mean the others arre lesser tracks, in fact it just means they're my favorites.

All in all, a necessary album to have in one's prog collection.
