Kingsnake
4 stars One of the most beautiful and coherent albums, Fish ever did.

The atmosphere is calm and dreamy. It's a concept album based on the films of Fellini.

Fish' voice is different, almost worn out, but it gives everything a sense of drama, wich is great. Wesley is a great guitarist, in my opinion much better than Steven Wilson, with whom Fish worked on the last few album.

The production is really great, all the musicians work great together, and they never are in eachother's way. The band really sound like a band, instead of a bunch of sessionplayers.

3D is a wonderful progressive epic, wich builds and builds and have some wonderful solos by Wesley. Steady drumming and beautiful vocal hooks.

They other great songs are Long Cold Day, Dancing in Fog and Clock Moves Sideways. On some songs Fish almost resembles the great David Bowie.

Our Smile is a nice ballad aswell. Fish Always had the knack of putting a nice ballad/duet on his albums.
