5 stars tech death metal with Keys to match the frenetic playing? indeed! this disc and the previous are excellent entries into the historical halls of tech metal. With engaging songs that features oodlings of noodlings, this band does not fail to impress or keep one engaged, but the fact that they added that element of keyboards/piano brings them closer to "true" prog than most in the field, except it is brutal prog.....anyway, I am ranking this release higher because it came with a bonus disc that takes the vocals off, which renders it listenable to some of you out there who are against brutal growling vox.....besides, the songs stand on their own without vocals anyway. But know this; these guys are definitely essential for this subgenre of metal....one of those gems from the weirdos over at The End Records (a great label by the way!)
