There are 2 tracks on this release. "Shine" and "The Path". SHINE: A composition by Mike and Jon Anderson. Very 80's sounding piece. Nice bouncy tune, with little progressive pretensions. The lyrics are quite lame, though. Midway through, Mike Oldfield gives a great signature guitar solo that I could pick out as him from a mile away! THE PATH: Melodic and moody guitar piece. Not bad but nothing too exciting, either. Has a repeating pattern between the acoustic guitar and what I think are bells? As far as I know, these were not part of any of Mike's regular album releases. 3 stars. Good but not essential.
