3 stars i bought this album when i lived in italy,at the time it was difficult to get hold of many prog rock cds, anyway i see the cd in my local shop and bought it,i was new to the group so i was curious of there music, first of all the sound quality of this cd is fantastic the songs have been remastered, the first song is a new recording while the others are old songs which were re-recorded,so if you see it buy it you will be glad you did.

1 stars This album is not exactly an anthology. Here you can find two new tracks "Quelli come noi" and "Hey, lassł!": both are just weak commercial pop songs (with the first one the band took part to the San Remo festival, a popular happening in Italy bound to commercial pop music). All the other tracks are more or less successful songs coming from pop past of the band, completely rerecorded with new arrangements. In my opinion here there's absolutely nothing interesting for a prog lover. Anyway, if you like this band and you want to explore their pop efforts, I think that it would be better look for an anthology with the original versions.

This is not a bad pop album but it is definitely an useless one, released by a band running out of new ideas, though with a great musicianship. In my opinion it is just for completionists!

1 stars At this time of their career, there are little chances to hear such a great album as "Ut" of course. Especially when one has to acknowledge that this album holds almost exclusively very old songs from the band, but played with new arrangements and sounds.

"Signore, Io Sono Irish" for instance was featured on their first album "Senza Orario, Senza Bandiera". Other ones are "Visioni" and "Una Mineira" from their sophomore work. Etc.

The objective being to offer a new angle to these old pieces. Was it useful? I guess not. The track selection skips totally their most prog songs in favour of the commercial aspect. So, prog is again alien here.

Average Italian pop as they ought to produce for the last fifteen years or so. Some good melodies though but most of this album is just too mellow and quite unbearable. "Poster" is maybe one of the weakest (but there are several that could deserve the crown, like "Aldebaran" for instance).

The couple of new songs is on par, don't worry: nothing to write home about. The best advise is of course to stay far, far away from this "Quelli Come Noi". Totally useless IMO.

One star. What else?

1 stars What about this album? One should try to understand what prompted such a band to record an album of this kind. POP, too POP. Commercial, too commercial. Without magic, feeling and... Since these are New Trolls it makes me very badly. The cover is very sad! Interesting idea of the puzzle ... Only the result is really sad, with the result that the CD music is even worse! If "Quelli come noi" is a song for POP contest ("San Remo festival") the other song are presented with new sound and arrangements: "Visioni" is the big example of ruined a song, as if New Trolls have wanted to erase the past!

Excuse me... But this is my view of this album!

1 stars This is not the New Trolls as I want to remember them. From what Andrea has told me (us), this album is two original tracks plus some additional tracks. I really does not know those two original tracks from those additional tracks.

The music on this album is a mix of Italian pop and the 1980s pop scene. The sound is plastic fantastic like and pretty bad. It is mainly done by synths and vocals. The drums sounds plastic like and so does the guitars too. This is the 1980s in all it's horrors.

The quality of the songs....... well, quality, what quality ? There is no quality here and none of the songs does anything than annoys me. Stay well clear of this album despite of this being a New Trolls album.

1 star
