20TH CENTURY MASTERS - MILLENIUM COLLECTION

A brief compilation of 10 tracks by the Strawbs from four of their A&M albums (Grave new world, Bursting at the seams, Hero and Heroine, and Ghosts). The tracks are generally among the band's more accessible works, with their two biggest hit singles ("Lay down" and "Part of the union") both included.

The collection gets deeper towards the end, with two strong longer tracks "Autumn" and "Ghosts", separated by the choral "Grace darling", rounding things off nicely.

There's no doubt the tracks have been selected from the band's best albums. Whether or not the best tracks have been selected is a bit more hit and miss.
