3 stars A fine EP that served as a preview of the then forthcoming CD Magic Spells. It Also introduces the talents of Gustavo DeMachi as a lead vocalist. A good move and, although his english has a very heavy accent, it finally gives this band someone who can handle the vocal parts as good as the instrumental ones. This mini-album contains 3 radio edited verisons of Magic, Crying For Help and Cut, plus two full songs. All of them are very good. Actually I found those tracks to be much better in their studio versions than on the acclaimed Live In Rio CD. Fans of neo prog will be delighted!
