Syncage biography
This young quartet of Progressive Rock musicians from Vicenza, Italy, was started as "Rising Horizons" by brothers Matteo and Riccardo Nicolin with Danielle Tarabini and Matteo Graziani. The group performed live, and released a demo and full-length album under the "Rising Horizons" name between 2010 and 2012. In 2013 the band underwent a paradigm shift and changed their name to Syncage. The following year they would release their first official works under the new moniker: the single Hellhound in May, and the EP Italiota in September. They would release their first full length LP in May of 2017, Unlike Here.

Syncage play a broad spectrum of styles with a propensity toward contrasting dynamics. Both electric and acoustic instrumentation is represented throughout their works with homage to classic progressive soundscapes, while embracing modern fidelity. They are not afraid to get dirty, but never at the cost of clarity of idea. They are adept story tellers and seem to shape their compositions to fit the tale.
