Saving Throw biography
Based out of Macomb, MI, Saving Throw is a three-piece instrumental progressive rock band drawing its main influences from artists such as Animals As Leaders and CHON. Saving Throw is a culmination of the chemistry of its members and a desire to bring about a fresh sound to the music industry. The lineup consists of Josh MURRAY at Guitar, Kyle SPAULDING at Bass and Austin STILLWELL at Drums. They started as a quartet including the giitarist Mike LEACH.

Saving Throw has played alongside popular acts in the progressive scene such as Scale the Summit, Thank You Scientist, and Plini. 2018 saw the band join the lineup of the popular Michigan music event, BLED Fest.
