Permanent Clear Light biography
formed 2009 in Finland

Markku Helin, Arto Kakko and Matti Laitinen are PERMANENT CLEAR LIGHT, a strict studio entity and one of Finland's top psychedelic groups. They released their debut album 'Beyond These Things' in 2014 to a high critical acclaim. Although the musical roots lie in the 60's psychedelia their sound is strictly contemporary. Progressive psych with some folk and pop sentiment, characterized by multi-layered instrumental work and strong melodic vocals. After a creative break the sophomore anticipated album 'Cosmic Comics' saw the light of day in 2020, featuring earworm melodies and prominent keyboards.
