The Cilikis biography
Founded in 2009, THE CILIKIS (formerly known as THE CILIKIS PROGRESSIO PROJECT) calls Australia their home. Made up of the trio of Brendan MCLAUGHLIN (guitars), Frank HORVATH (bass) and Tyronne ANDERSON (drums), the band started out as a straight out metal band, but over time, they have transformed more into a jazz fusion band with a big emphasis on metal aspects.

As of 2021, THE CILIKIS has released 3 albums since 2009. The debut album was a self-titled album under the name THE CILIKIS PROGRESSIO PROJECT. The next two albums were EPs: "Unusual Conversations" in 2014 and "Anomaly" in 2019. The band's work is all done in a do-it-yourself manner.

According to the band's website, "THE CILIKIS are a...heavy fusion band combining elements of Jazz fusion, progressive rock, heavy metal and other...experimental types of music and strange/avant-garde writing techniques." The music should appeal to fans of THE LASZLO PROJECT, VOYEUR'S KALEIDOSCOPE, PLAYING GOD, BLORGALAKT, Rob GUZ and ABSALOMS AXE.
