Water Damage biography
Water Damage are an American experimental rock collective from Austin, Texas which operates using a revolving line-up involving, in different configurations, guitarist Travis Austin, keyboard player George Dishner, bassists Nate Cross and Jeff Piwonka, and drummers Thor Harris, Greg Piwonka and Mike Kanin. The individual band members have all previously been part of many different rock groups around the United States, including Swans, Angels Of Light, Kidbug, Shearwater, Marriage, Spray Paint and Black Eyes. Their motto as a group is "Maximal Repetition Minimal Deviation", which they attempt to achieve through prolonged, minimalistic and noisy drones, recorded in a single take. The band released its first two albums, birthed during the same recording sessions, in 2022.
