Hollow Hour biography
Hollow Hour is a brand new progressive metal band from Copenhagen. With roots in the small, Danish town Køge, three of the current band members united in 2015, playing club shows and writing demo material under the name Mosaik.

Probably the most obvious band to pick as a point of reference for Hollow Hour is Vola. Nevertheless, while djent is a component of the band's sound, the band goes beyond groovy and crunch riffs and polyrhythms and creates an emotionally-charged sound, easily blending soft and heavy moments, opting for catchy and warm choruses. The expressive and sometimes melancholic vocals stand out and draw the listener in.

The band released their debut album Till The Grey Skies Are Gone, in January 2023. The quality of the songs themselves is very solid; even if it's supposed to be djent, it's still very different and varied compared to most similar bands.

Hollow Hour is warmly recommended for fans and listeners of Vola, Fair To Midland, Feather Mountain, Tool and Chevelle.
