Abel Marton Nagy's Cosmos Band is a wacky musical ensemble based in Vienna, Austria under the leadership of Hungarian keyboard player Ábel Márton Nagy. Nagy started the project with singer Emma Nagy during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 as a means of getting musicians to record together remotely, and it wasn't until 2021 that the Cosmos Band had a chance to perform in one place, both live and in the studio. They have since released four full-length albums incorporating influences of bop, electronica, pop, and a whole host of other things into an eclectic jazz fusion mixture with a revolving door line-up ranging from a small group to a full-scale big band. Nagy himself has additionally made a name for himself outside the project by playing with Steve Hackett, Djabe, Early Sundayz, Claus Spechtl and the jazz composer's ensemble of the Vienna Music and Art Private University.
