Invernalia biography
INVERNALIA is a group project created by multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer Aldo Pinelli, who began his musical career playing classical guitar with a trio since 1990, in the Atlantic Coast of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Laudatory comments led him to add keyboards and flute to the ensemble.
He received classical influence from his conservatory lessons, as well as from the Celtic, the ancient music and the impressionist period.

In 2001, Pinelli released a CD including those old songs. Then he established a new band, formed exclusively with women.

Since 2002 concerts have been going on, including outfits carefully selected for the shows. This time he included also percussion, merging Prog Music, Ambient, Celtic and Antique Music. Meanwhile, he founded the band HÁBITAT, and in 2015 he released the self-titled debut instalment of INVERNALIA.

After dissolving HÁBITAT in 2021, Pinelli resumed INVERNALIA, releasing the sophomore Tenebras, and playing live since April 2022, maintaining also his solo band. In October 2022, they played in Spain for first time and also in Italy. During 2023 they played live in medieval fairs and other venues, waiting for the release of NORDISKA VATTEN in January 2024 by Lizard Records Italy.
