Space Machine biography
Space Machine is one of Takushi "Maso" Yamazaki's personal projects among many others (Masonna, Bust monsters, Christine 23.). The artist experiments the possibilities offered by vintage analog equipments (including the EMS VSC3, Roland System 100 & 100M, PAiA 4700 Modular, Doepfer Modular, etc.) The project saw the light back in 1998. Three albums have been recorded under this name ("Space Machine 3" / 3Modular Series, Model-2013 / 3Modular Series, Model-202"). The result reveals trancey, spacey electronics, incorporating airy & agitated drones, micro effects, radiations and fluctuations of frequencies. This music is directly into the realms of sidereal listening experiences from Cluster, Conrad Schnitzler and Spacecraft. Nice series of synth experimentations and a convinced illustration of electronic-kraut revival.
