Atma biography
ATMA is a progressive metal band from Ottawa,Ontario.Formed in 2004,the line-up consists of members:Dan Da Silva (vocals),Nathan Da Silva (guitar, vocals),Paul Gillespie (drums, keyboards),Justin Black (guitar) and Nick Favretto (bass).

In 2006 ATMA self-released an 8-song EP titled "The Cycle's Demise".In 2008 the band released their self-titled EP,again independently.

ATMA is an extremely talented collection of young musicians, melding together many different styles like progressive metal, progressive rock, and tech/extreme prog metal. They fuse brutal aggression with accessibility,Lyrically,ATMA unfolds stories that revolve around the constant motion of two elements that create an equilibrium:Love and hate, peace and war, life and death, and betrayal and revenge.

ATMA is a band to keep an eye on in the future and their fresh, original brand of progressive metal is highly recommended!
