IV Luna biography
IV LUNA is a progressive metal band from Roma, Italy consisting of Miki Chessa (vocals, guitar), Laki Chessa (lead guitar), Tris Citro (bass), and Alex Julius (drums).

The band formed in the autumn of 1994 under the moniker of NERIENE by Laki Chessa, Miki and bassist Andrea BJ Caminiti. A few months later, Alex Juilius Giulani joined the band. In the winter of 1996, after the release of their first self titled demo tape; they changed their name to IV LUNA (Latin for "fourth day of the crescent moon").

In the spring of 1997, IV LUNA recorded a three track Promo and would send this to various radio stations, magazines, and record companies. Due to some airplay on the radio, they were invited to several local festivals where the shared the stage with SCISMA, VENUS and MISERY LOVES COMPANY.

In April of 1999, they recorded their debut album "Liberamente", that was self produced in collaboration with B&B Productions.

In 2003, the band recorded their second full length album "D'Incanto" on Blond Records.

In 2005, BJ left the band and would be replaced by Tris Citro. They began composing their lyrics in English to gain world wide appeal.

In 2006, the band released a promotional enhanced EP "Anteroom."
