And Stars Collide biography
...AND STARS COLLIDE is a post rock band from Nottingham, United Kingdom consisting of Tom Baines (guitar, keyboards), Rob Laban (bass), Andrew Pimm (percussion), and Chris Smith (guitar).

They self-financed their debut self-titled EP and released it on Sky Weeps Productions in December of 2008. The album was recorded and mixed by Ian Boult at StuckOnAName Studios and was mastered by Rob Laban.

...AND STARS COLLIDE plays guitar driven instrumental music with a strong emphasis on dynamics. They draw inspiration from the delicate tones and textures of EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, but are never fearful of throwing in a power chord like ISIS, and they bring the energy of 65DAYSOFSTATIC. They were approved by the Post Rock Team and are very highly recommended.
