Canyonsofstatic biography
Canyonsofstatic are band from West Bend, WI, formed in 2005. Band members consist od husband and wife guitarist Ross Severson and keyboardist Aggie Severson, bassist Chris Biertzer and drummer Nathan Gaffney. There is no central songwriter in the band. Their music is haunting, it's loud, intense at moments, enchanting melodies they create. Uplifting instrumental passages, rich textures combined with distorted aesthetics of shoegaze and ambient tunes all the way. They so far self-released two ep?s and two full-length albums, The Disappearance(2008) and Canyonsofstatic(2010). Recommended for the fans of THE CALM BLUE SEA, GODSPEED YOU!
